It’s Time To Make Our Community Safer!
Did you know that before the sidewalks on Kennedy Avenue were built, town officials told residents that maintenance would be done by the town? Now the town’s position is that residents should maintain the sidewalks adjoining their property.
At the very least, the town should clean up the sidewalks in the Spring. Several vacant lots have brush overhanging the sidewalks.
Another question. Why does the town plow the sidewalks along Route 5 in Derby but not on Kennedy Avenue?
Wiki defines “Public Service” as “a service intended to serve all members of a community“.
In Evans, we have “elected officials” and not “public servants“. [ Click Here! ]
It takes a Sturgeon Point Marina-type uprising (Summer 2021) to get the town hall’s attention.
